How Do I Change The Payment Method Linked To My Account?

You can manage your payment method from the sweetgreen app or the ACCOUNT page on the sweetgreen website.

From the app:

  • Open the app and log in
  • Click the settings icon located in the top left of the screen and then select "PAYMENT"
  • If a card was already added, your current default Payment Method will be shown
  • If one has not yet been added or you wish to add an additional card, it will ask that you 'Add credit/debit card'
  • Fill in your card information and then tap the "SAVE" button
  • If this is your first card added, it will be the default payment method for sweetgreen
  • If it is not the first payment method added, you can select "Make default payment method" or leave that circle blank to keep your already existing payment method as the default
  • After clicking "Checkout" when ordering, you can toggle between cards by clicking the card listed below "Payment method" and selecting your preferred card to use for the order

From the web:

  • Go to https://www.sweetgreen.com/ and click "ORDER NOW" at the top right
  • Click "ACCOUNT" at the top right of the Order Now Page
  • Enter the email address associated with your sweetgreen account and click "NEXT"
  • Enter your password and click "SIGN IN"
  • Click "ACCOUNT" at the top right once again
  • On the "MY PROFILE" tab of the ACCOUNT page, scroll down to "PAYMENT OPTIONS" and click "+ ADD CARD"
  • To remove a card, click 'Remove' to the right of the card and confirm
  • To add a new card, click 'Add New Card,' fill in your card information and click 'Add New Card' again

NOTE: Both processes for adding a new payment method can also be performed on the checkout screen when ordering through the app or online
